2021 Doug Kookier

The 2021 recipient has owned and operated safe spaces for more than 35 years.

These spaces have hosted countless events ranging from Karaoke, Leather nights, Open Mics, Pride events, Fundraisers, Drag Shows, Concerts and so much more.

He has owned and operated the following nightclubs: 

  • Club 332 January 1st, 1984- March 27th, 1994
  • Touchéz April 1st,1994- March 17th, 2008
  • Touchéz West (TW’s) Oct 31st, 1999- Spring of 2006
  • Club David   March 21st, 2008- Current
